One of three Short-tailed Field Voles that I saw in the churchyard today. There is a healthy population of these small mammals here. The longer grass pastures behind the church are largely undisturbed so make for great habitat. Voles have spilled over into the churchyard from here now that there are areas of similar grassland to be found.
