My first butterfly of the year, a Peacock (Aglais io), flying strongly along a hedgerow near Crixhall Court. Three Brimstone butterflies (Gonepteryx rhamni) were reported from Goodnestone Park today, and their first singing Chiffchaff of spring was also heard.
