This is a seed head of Wood Avens or Herb Bennet (Geum urbanum). There's masses of it growing in the shady parts of the churchyard. Notice the little hooks at the tip of each seed. These will catch on the fur of passing animals, aiding seed dispersal. Also notice the tiny aphid playing hide-and-seek.
