Two berries shining brightly in this mornings gloom. The seed pods of Stinking Iris (Iris foetidissima) bursting at the seams with fat orange berries and a string of red Bryony berries. Both of these are poisonous to us but birds will feast on them when they have softened sufficiently later in the winter.
