Noticed this Common Toad today at the church, blending in well with the flint and mortar wall. There is a healthy toad population in the churchyard. Plenty of damp places to hide-broken brickwork, long grass, log piles and tombstones leaning against walls. The same conditions are required by toad's favourite food, slugs and snails. So, the conditions are ideal.
