Another beautiful day with plenty of sunshine and lots of butterflies. Peacock butterflies are out in force. I saw at least 20 today on just two big Buddleia bushes in Lower Rowling. Also this one below on that dreadful plant Ragwort!
Painted Lady butterflies are migrants from southern Europe and north Africa. There are a few about but not an invasion year as yet. This one was sharing the Buddleia in Lower Rowling.
