There are virtually no good ponds with public access in our area. Except this one that is! Between Poulton Lane Ash and Ash Church, on public access land owned and managed by the Jack Foat Trust. In the current drought, it is an oasis of green and the Yellow Flag Iris (Iris pseudacorus) added a lovely splash of colour.
