The apple orchard alongside the Grove Road is coming into flower, and quite a sight it is too. At regular intervals along the rows of crop apples are these crab apple trees. These produce a mass of flowers slightly earlier than the surrounding trees. Pollinators are attracted by the abundance of pollen and nectar and spread out through the orchard ensuring the fruit trees are pollinated, without which, there'd be no fruit!
