This is the Miller Woodland Trust site in Chalkpit Lane. It is open access and well worth a visit. It is planted with native trees and shrubs and has a central meadow area. The meadow has a wide range of wildflower species and attracts a good variety of butterflies and other insects. I have found four orchid species growing here, which isn't bad for a small patch surrounded by farmed fields. It is important to have well managed areas like this in the agricultural landscape and the MWT are doing a great job by providing several sites locally.
